5 Gabrial The Wire R A Fahey P Hanagan
“Wide open handicap here and although we have a huge respect for the Nigel Tinkler horse at the top of the weights, we also hear this fella is in the peak of his form at home and has a good racing weight here. However, he has a poor draw and that reduces confidence slightly but, nevertheless he has a magician on board around here and is well worth EW interest today at around 10-12/1/. .”

2 Dashing Roger W Stone Marco Ghiani
“Most interesting handicap with plenty having a relatively obvious chance in this notably the favourite, History Writer a course and distance winner from a yard that have good chances on this card this evening but this one of William Stone's trained just outside Newmarket comes here off the back of a couple of prep runs and this track and ground will suit him perfectly. He has the favourite among others to beat but of the rest only Sword Beach is weighted to get close and on that basis, the 10/1 with FOUR places at Skybet looks particularly attractive, Good messages and a big run on the cards...”

7 Ranchero (IRE) J & T Gosden James Doyle
“It looks like it could be a long season for the Gosden three year old this term as there appear to be very few stars among them. This fella reflects that perspective but the vibes are at least he can win a maiden and he has an excellent chance here. He has the very much in form, Mick Channon's Hiromichi to beat but he was left for dead by three decent sorts at Newbury and may well have been the best, in fourth, of a modest bunch. That remains to be seen but with the ground on the slow side, we're expecting to see the Gosden horse do the job here. Fancied.”

6 Raadobarg (IRE) 3 9-0 R Varian Jack Mitchell
“A wide open handicap just as in previous years but we have a good record in the race and its an event which can have a big say in subsequent and similar races including the Brittania at Royal Ascot. He goes well on soft and although he takes on many of our good friends including Heitghs of Abraham, the main danger who won for us last Sunday and Teodolina who won for us at Ascot at 33/1 into 18s, this fella is the one to be with and is now an EW price. Should be backed accordingly but with so many of our old friends in here, we're taking the 4/1 (with BOG) and FOUR places at Skybet. EW proposition. 0.75pt EW”

6 Mostahdaf (IRE) J & T Gosden Jim Crowley
“Always an intriguing race that doesn't always go the way of the favourites. This one is a typical example of an improving 3yo and although the yard's other horse did the job for us when winning well at Newbury, the vibes from the yard indicate this one may just be the better. Whether he is better than the others is the big question but while respectful of last year's Coventry winner Nando Parrado and the Godolphin trained, Hurricane Avenue, if this fella is as good as we're informed, then he will be winning this before going onto better things. The Eclipse is apparently a possibility but if they were thinking he could win an Eclipse, then he would have to be winning this. Priced up at 5/1, damn, now 9/2 with most, he is worth EW interest here. Quietly fancied.”

“This one from Richard Hughes' yard and they do well at this track. Theyre telling us to ignore last couple of runs and expectign a big run here. They have Stuart Williams El Conquistador to beat but fancy they can get among them and land good EW bets at around 12's generally. ”

“Although there is little doubt that Micky Quinn’s top weight will take the beating here, this one of Joseph Parr’s has the ability to give him a run for his money and the vibes from the yard indicate he is a cracking EW proposition here at a nice price. Currently 13/2 with B365 and fancied to land good EW bets.”

Goes well on the ground and fancied to cause a surprise here. Fancied.”

“Interesting message form the North in what is a trappy 10f handicap but this fella is capable having won a mile nursery at the back end last year and that proves he won't mid the ground. The main threat is useful, that is Contact of David Barron's and they're in decent form too. He has won his last two but the last one was on fastish ground though he did run well on slow ground last term and it will be a close run thing. However, the messages that have emanated from both camps gives this fella the edge and he is good enough for us here. Fancied. 3/1 across the board.”

“Absolutely impeccably bred and did the job as his breeding suggested when winning and landing Best bets for us at Newcastle. He has a big danger today now he steps up in grade in the shape of both Fancy Man and Flyin High but is fancied to confirm his potential and his progress here. Won't mind the little bit of juice in the ground and fancied to get the better of those two.”

4 Bay Bridge Sir Michael Stoute R L Moore
“From the Sir Michael Stoute camp and they're keen on the chances of this fella after a facile success up at Newcastle. They feel he is well handicapped and although this is a race in which most of the protagonists would feel they have chances, this one from a yard who have had a good start to their year is expected to get his head in front here. River Alwyn would be a major threat as would Dubawi Sands and Oz Legend from near the bottom of the weights but this fella has plenty in his favour here and is well fancied to win this. 3/1 with B365.”

“Good strong message from a yard for whom we have a great deal of respect. This fella was a good third in a hot handicap here in April, when not getting a clear run before finishing well and has been aimed at this event ever since. Has bags of pace and travels well but has an explosive turn of foot and is expected to put that to good use here. Has a couple of similar sorts to beat in First Folio and Mr Trick but the vibes indicate they feel this one can ply his trade at a grade higher than this and if that's the case, is more than capable of winning this. 11/4 best with B365, Hills etc.”

“Good vibes from across the Irish sea for this one of Johnny Murtagh's. She made her debut here a few weeks back and was staying on strongly at the end of the same trip but giving every indication that the slightly stiffer test this ground today will provide, would be right up her street. She faces a field full of potential but the way she performed suggests it will take a decent one to beat her. fancied.”

“From the same stable as yesterday's 33/1 into 18/1 winner Teodolina and although he will be oneof the outsiders in this field, like Teodolina, he is the subject of good reports regarding recent homework and is fancied to relish the underfoot conditions here and is fancied to have the legs of Raaeq who is also fancied and rates the main threat. Considered a cracking EW bet at 15/2 (first two only ) with Skybet and is the one to be with here.”

She has continued ti progress and although this is her first step above one mile, being by Nathanielthats not expected tpo be an issue. Has been wokring nicely and well fancied to win this. Has since worked very well and is fancied to get the better of this lot here, the best of which is expected to be the wayward Berkshire Phoenix who saw most of Wiltshire when making his debut. “Has been laid out for this event since the Cambridgeshire last year and a first time out winner for us last term, he is naturally, a little higher in the weights now but while respectful of the like of Maydanny who we had a serious late message for, this fella is expected to do the job here. Enjoys this ground and has a capable 5lb claimer aboard to negate the impost. Excellent prospects and well fancied EW here at 5/1 (with BOG, important as he may drift with the kid on board) and expected to land good EW bets here.”

“Did us a couple of big favours last term and this colt by Toronado is reported to be on track to take in one of the Guineas, if not necessarily the one here. He gets a little weight from the Godolphin and Ballydoyle horses and although his season appeared to tail off a little after his Royal Ascot and July Festival successes, the yard were never as happy with him in the second half of the unusually curtailed season last term. However, he is back bright and breezy, working well and this 7f ought to suit here. Royal Scimitar, the subject of a late spoiler message ciold go well also but this fella fancied from this mark and expected to go very well here. EW support advised at 7/1 B365. Fancied. 0.75pt EW”

He has shown plenty of speed and was originally aimed at the Brocklesby but comes here now and is fit and well. He has the Cox horse to beat for which there is a good message doing the rounds but that will have to be speedier than the rest of the family to beat this fella. John Ryan's is nicely bred and so too, Mark Johnston's but this fella fancied to do the job here and expected to win this. Fancied. 5/2 across the boards (with BOG).”

That said he is normally a very safe conveyance and there is not expected to be any repeat of that here. From a yard that continues in decent form and although we have a healthy respect for several in here such as the long absent Mr Whipped and also, JohnBB from the stable that won this for us three years ago with John Patrick but, on balance after taking everything into consideration, the messages are good and this improving 7yo is expected to win this for the Bailey camp. He goes there in great nick apparently and although the King horse would be a threat, King's horses just gone slightly off the boil and the Balding camp expecting a big run from this fella who is out of a cracking fast ground stayer. They could well have winners on three fronts but this one is the ihghest grade of all their runners today, admittedly, taking on a high class field and although we have the highest possible respect for both Lord Glitters and Al Suhail, in particular, who is expected to reverse the form with that one today but thisfe lla was a revelation last term and has come back in exceptional form. Theyre expecting to win this today and it will be a disappointment if the Prince of Wales' winner of 2020 cant win this today. He showed up well on his penultimate start over two miles and again when stepped up to two and a half but this further increase in distance is apparently what is required. He won't mind the ground and although there are dangers in this, such as Premium Access who is stepping back in trip, this fella is subject to good messages from the yard and is expected to go close here. “Impossible to ignore the vibes from Ireland for this 8yo who has done a couple of nice jobs for his trainer this term. Is very versatile and bids to follow up his hurdles success at Kelso last time with another chasing success following a cracking run in a big chase in Ireland previosusly over what was considered an inadequate trip. Wont mind the ground either and although there are dangers everywhere in this cracking event, such as Caribbean Boy, Coole Cody who will set a furious pace for sure and Paddys Poem, the main threat will come from Farclas who we may well have a saver on here. A cracking contest won for us by a heavily backed favourite last year and this fella expected to do likewise here. Well fancied. 7/2 best with B365. 0.75pt win”

“From the Denise Foster yard and this one had been prepared for this by previous encumbent Gordon Elliot. He had always intended for this horse to make the step up in trip here and take advantage of what they consider to be a very lenient mark. A half brother to the very useul Sizing Tennesssee who improved dramatically once stepped up in trip and the same is expected of this 7yo. A big factor is his ability to handle faster ground and although hugely respectful of Kilfilum Cross, placed twice in this event, Crievehill, well handicapped on his best form but not always sure to reproduce it and Sizing at Midnight from a yard on their way back, this fella has all the right credentials to land this. Likely to get even shorter, we're interested in the vibes from this yard for this fella and with the yard back in good form its well worth listening to. He has decent hurdles form but is bred for this and is expected to jump and stay. Whether that will be good enough to beat off the favourite remains to be seen but at 9/1 with FOUR places at Skybet, well worth backing here. ”

He takes on a decent sort in Le Ligerien but more of a threat come sfrom the Chris Gordon trained Shut the Box and it'll be a cracking contest with that one receiving 10lb here but while both have progressive profiles, this fella is expected to have the edge and is he one to be with. He is expected to be a nice price too and is currently backable EW at 11/2 with B365 (with BOG) and others but be aware there has already been one non runner in this and we have the bare eight left but at that price he is a cracking EW proposition here. “From the same yard as yesterday's excellent results with Gowel Road and Guard Your Dreams and although this fella nowhere near the same standard, he is nevertheless expected to score here. He has the Charlie Mann trained, Ivilnoble to beat here but is fancied to do so back up in trip. Is a nice price too and EW bets are expected to pay dividends at the 7/1 with B365. 0.5pt EW.”

“Another from the Fergal camp and this one has a live chance here. Its a tough looking event but they're keen on the way their horses are going at present and they're expecting this one to go close here. A couple of dark horses that may cause a problem but an EW price is good and advised accordingly. Fancied EW at 11/2 with B365.”

“Phil McEntee has his horses in good order and a good message for this one today, at a nice price too. Has the Herrington and Harris horses to beat but is fancied EW and at around 5 or 6/1 is ideal for EW bets here. ”

“Finding it difficult to ignore the 50/1 on offer with Paddy Power, with FIVE places available here and on that basis will be taking a little. Left a little for you but while only modest stakes, the messages are good and the one thing you know about this fella is that he won't be stopping at the death. He gets further - goes on any ground and is fancied to go close here. Five places is huge for this out and out stayer. He has most to fear from the McManus pair the best handicapped of which is Musical Slave and will probably save on that. This fella though is over priced and, as such, a cracking EW proposition here.”

“From the Conrad Allen yard and fancied to win her first race here. She has shown relatively little thus far but the pedigree is nice and she has more to come. Fancied to overcome these here and win this. 0.5pt win, 4/1 with B 365.”
