Racing Telegraph, has for over 25 years now, been a significant part of the fabric of British horse racing and not only are we still going strong, our results speak for themselves and many would say we are, appreciably, STRONGER THAN EVER!!

So, let us welcome you to Newmarket. It's our home town and not only is it the equine capital of the world but also the nerve-centre of the British betting industry too.

We are not only based at Newmarket, affectionately known throughout racing simply as 'HEADQUARTERS' but we also share the same address as many of the world's top trainers, with Sir Michael Stoute immediately behind our offices and John Gosden, directly opposite. Just a few yards away, either side of us is the world's largest bloodstock operation. Sheikh Mohammed's huge Godolphin operation has both Saeed Bin Suroor and Charlie Appleby close at hand while veteran, Clive Brittain, the shrewd Italian, Luca Cumani and the progressive Jeremy Noseda are only a matter of a couple of hundred yards away and these will be joined, in 2015 by the former front man of the Godolphin team, Simon Crisford. A swift scan through our results over the years would see them littered with winners from each of these yards and as you can see, it is understandable why people would consider this small enclave to be the nerve centre for, if any of these trainers has a runner on any given day, the betting world anticipates developments with bated breath!

Also, within yards of our offices, at the top of Bury Road is the world famous Limekilns gallops which have overseen the preparations for decades, if not centuries, of classic winners including, most recently, of course, the brilliant Frankel and Kingman and, indeed, the horse who adorns this site, Sea Moon (above right ), upon whom we landed a massive gamble in the Great Voltigeur at York a season or two ago. He is embedded in the history of Racing Telegraph.

At the other end of Bury Road is the Clocktower, one of the town’s most famous landmarks situated at the top of the High Street. A hive of activity during racedays where many impressionable punters have sought those elusive snippets from stable lads and the like.

We are your eyes and ears at HQ but don’t think that prevents us from ascertaining top class information from elsewhere. The huge Nationwide network of contacts that have been built up over 25 years in the industry is at our disposal, both on the flat and over jumps. Indeed, in recent years some would argue that our National Hunt information is, at least, the equal of our flat race news. A quick glance at results seems to imply same and our successes at the mecca of jump-racing, at Cheltenham, particularly at the Festival itself bears the closest scrutiny. All told, the Racing Telgraph’s huge contact-base is more than capable of regularly providing you with the very best Inside Information that money can buy!!

So, how are we going to convince you to join us?

..."Thank you for a brilliant day on Sunday. I have only been a member since Champions day but I’ve never backed so many winners on one day and, having done my usual yankee, which was all correct the Missus is very pleased with me for a change. The only downside was I took 20s for the 25/1 winner but who cares! Please buy your staff a drink on me and Keep up your great work. Thank you, thank you, thank you."... T G, South Shields

..."What a day! I didnt have much in my pocket so risked a 50p heinz on the 6 bets advised today (30/5) andcouldnt believe it when the proceeds came to £1350. Cant thank you enough. It really helped me out this weekend - Simply brilliant"... JH, Ipswich

..."guys what a bang on send off to 2013 was on The Tichborne 12/1 almost as good as the Victoria Cup 25/1 Excellent Guest great work best service around all good wishes for 2014 happy new year all round, rgds jb"... JB (via email)

..."Just wanted to say thanks to you and the RT team for the quite superb information for Royal Ascot. Your tips made a fantastic meeting even more special. Rizeena was of course the standout highlight but cheering home Berkshire and Opinion on Saturday will provide me with an everlasting memory of this year's meeting. I placed an ew lucky 63 on your 6 main selections on Saturday and this returned a nice amount thanks to the above 2 horses. I have never cheered home a horse as much as I did Shahwardi in the last to multiply my winnings, but it wasn't to be! Still a superb effort though. Well done again for the continued great service you provide to your members."... Dave (via Email)

DYNAMO Waltzes in at Chelmsford Sunday..

DYNAMO WALT just about saved the day on Sunday and kept our run of winners going as he came from an unpromising position two out to run down the opposition and win COMFORTABLY, under a cracking ride from Paddy Mathers, to win easily at 4/1. Mr Potter also landed ew bets in the second although we were drowned out at Fontwell where the going was almost unraceable. We've more good stuff on the All weather on Monday>>> More...

What might have been....

It was a case of what might have been at Meydan on Thursday as the Godolphin trained, Baccarat narrowly missed out in the big sprint hanidcap. He ran an absolute stormer as we advised, and backed him heavily from 6/1 into 7/2 and, in coming FOUR LENGTHS clear of the third horse, IN A HANDICAP, just to show how well in he was More...
