The daily service thrives with more highlights than we have the space to provide but, in particular, the Classic successes of Rodrigo de Triano in the Guineas, User Friendly in the Leger and the superb information on the Luca Cumani trained, High Rise (right) in the 1998 Epsom Derby at a massive 20-1 (right) were undoubtedly some of the more memorable.

In particular, unraced two year olds and unexposed maidens line the coffers but the huge prices in big handicaps and multiple bet winners the growing number of subscribers happy.

The demand for a presence on-line sees the birth of RacingTelegraph.co.uk and the digital switchover towards the end of the decade sees the Racing Telegraph expand into Digital text on Freeview.
